About the Retreat
Escape to the stunning backdrop of the Staffordshire Peak District and hugging the banks of the River Dane for a two nights/three days of yoga, mindfulness walking, and wild swimming retreat.
The Mill is a historic retreat space brimming with charm and tranquillity. Surrounded by gardens, walking trails, and stunning river views, it offers a peaceful haven for relaxation and is rich in history and heritage. This retreat is designed to help you relax, restore, and reconnect with yourself and nature.

With the stunning landscape of the Peak District as your backdrop, our beautiful rural location combined with cosy ensuite bedrooms- offering comfort and warmth for overnight stays.
Expansive outdoor space with direct access to picturesque footpaths and woodland walks for grounding and reflection.

2-night package includes;
2 dinners, 2 breakfasts & 1 lunch.
All meals are included and lovingly prepared by on-site chef. All the meals will be plant-based, each meal is a chance to gather, share stories, and enjoy food made with care.

Daily yoga practice will energise and restore your body, with vinyasa flow sessions to awaken and evening restorative yoga to relax. Each session is designed to complement the physical benefits of wild swimming, focusing on breath work, alignment and deep relaxation.

A guided, slow-paces walk through nature design to combine gentle movement with present moment awareness. It integrates walking meditation, sensory awareness of the environment (woodlands, rivers), and gentle breathing techniques to reduce stress, improve mental focus, and deepen nature connection.

Wild swimming is optional.
Our mindful wild swimming experiences focus on connecting with the breath and with the water rather than distance. Embrace the refreshing waters of Peak District and explore other stunning wild swimming spots from quiet dams nestled in the woodlands to remote wild waterfalls. Fully immerse yourself in nature and experience the rejuvenating benefits.

Throughout the weekend, there’s time and space to simply read, journal, or wander the local countryside at your own pace — ensuring the retreat is as restful as it is inspiring.
Emma is a deaf yoga, meditation, breath work and free movement facilitator, taking her guests through a deep healing journey on every retreat.
